Welcoming Chad Cleary to Guide Star
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Chad Cleary, a Navy veteran, to our team as the Business Development Solutions Architect at our new Marquette location. Chad’s journey to Guide Star is a testament to the power of community and support programs like Michigan Works.
“I went into the Michigan Works office in Marquette, and when I checked in to upload my resume, they asked if I was a veteran,” Chad shared. “They then enrolled me into the veterans’ program through Michigan Works.”
Chad, a Marquette native, served on the U.S.S. Cole out of Norfolk, Virginia. After the ship was attacked on October 12th, 2000, he chose not to re-enlist and returned to Upper Michigan. Now, he’s excited to contribute to the local business community.
